Mario Russo is a Full Professor in Electrical Power Systems (since 2005) at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. From 2011 to 2018, he served as the Educational Coordinator for all BSc and Master’s Courses in Engineering, and from 2018 to 2024, he was the Head of the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering. His research activities primarily focus on the analysis and control of electric power systems. He has been responsible for several national and regional projects and serves as an associate editor for international journals. He is the co-author of over 160 papers published in relevant international journals and conference proceedings, as well as a Springer monograph.
