Bio
Giovanni Mercurio Casolino (Member, IEEE) received the degree (Hons.) in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and information technology from the Università degli Studi di Cassino e L.M., in 1999 and 2004, respectively. He teaches courses in the power systems area. He is an Assistant Professor with the Università degli Studi di Cassino e L.M. He is the co-author of international scientific publications on modeling distribution systems by load areas, the optimal management of the deregulated electricity market, object-oriented methods for state estimation in distribution networks, and unit commitment and voltage regulation in the presence of distributed generation.
