Farhia Hassan Mohamed is a lecturer and researcher in development economics and energy economics at SIMAD University’s Faculty of Economics. Her research interests include energy-led development, poverty and inequality, human capital, and food security, with a particular focus on Somalia and the wider East African region. She has published peer-reviewed research in Scopus-indexed journals, contributing to the academic literature on energy and development economics in Africa.
