Dr Masoud Dauda is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He holds a PhD in Environmental Social Science from the University of Kent, UK, an MSc in Environmental Studies from Lund University, Sweden, and a BA in Sociology/Anthropology from the University of Dar es Salaam. His research focuses on environmental sociology, renewable energy adoption, community development, and sustainable development. Dr Dauda has extensive experience in research and consultancy, working on projects related to renewable energy, natural resource management, social development, and environmental policy. Dr Dauda has contributed to numerous national and international studies, published in peer-reviewed journals, and supervised postgraduate students in sociology, public health and environmental studies.
